As an ecologist specializing in Central America's biodiversity, our recent family vacation at Selva Verde Lodge was truly enlightening and heartwarming. Staying at this exceptional eco-friendly accommodation allowed us to witness firsthand what it's like to live in rural Costa Rica.The Sarapiquí Conservation Learning Center, an integral part of Selva Verde, offered us a rare opportunity to immerse ourselves in meaningful service activities. We had the chance to observe and learn about the activities of both the local people and the diverse wildlife whose lives are intricately intertwined with the flow of the nearby waters.
